How to Repair the Internal Fan on the Peugeot 407 That Is Not Working

If the air conditioning fan on the Peugeot 407 is not working, the issue may be a poor connection, not necessarily the motor or the resistor. Before replacing expensive components, check the wiring: often the fault lies in the fan motor connector, hidden behind the climate module, where the contacts overheat and burn out. Check the continuity with a multimeter and inspect the connector: if the pins are blackened or deformed, the problem is there. The air conditioning resistor may be functioning, but the signal does not reach the motor due to the damaged connector. In some cases, the fault may be intermittent, making diagnosis more complex. Repairing or replacing the connector resolves the issue.
