Video tutorial

On the Peugeot 207, the cabin air filter (or pollen filter) is located in the engine bay, high on the left (passenger side), under a protective grille near the windscreen. To replace it: open the bonnet and locate the plastic cover.

Remove the cover by prying it off (on some models it is clipped, on others a screwdriver is needed). Open the retention clip by pulling it towards you. Extract the old filter: on the 207, it consists of two separate elements, one smaller and one larger.

Clean the housing of leaves and debris. Insert the new filters, ensuring the airflow direction arrow printed on the side is respected.

The small filter goes on the right, the large one straight at the back. In dusty environments or for allergy sufferers, it should be replaced every 6 months - do not clean it with compressed air, but replace it.
