Replacing the Oil Filter on Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi

The oil filter is often changed along with the engine oil; let's see how to proceed with the replacement. Pull up the bonnet release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Use a socket to unscrew the tightening bolt of the cap where the oil filter is located. Remove the worn oil filter and position a new one. Lift the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt of the oil sump; allow the liquid to drain into a container. Finally, top up with new oil. Check the operation of the engine.
