Replace Gear Knob on Peugeot 308

To replace the damaged gear knob on a Peugeot 308, follow these steps. Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame. Grip the knob and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear lever (pull upwards with force). For installation, take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the centre console; press firmly until it locks in place, then fit the new leather gaiter and secure it with clips. Finally, test the knob's movement on the centre console to ensure it is correctly installed. Position the knob with the numbering vertically.
