How to Remove the Gearbox Cover on a Peugeot 5008

Is the central tunnel cover on your Peugeot 5008 damaged? Do you want to replace it? Here’s how to proceed. Unclip the gaiter frame from the plastic cover on the central tunnel. Use a plastic lever and pry between the two plastics (as shown in the video). Separate the two plastics from the central tunnel (gear lever frame and tunnel cover). If you want to remove the lower plastic, you need to unscrew the gear knob from the shaft. Fit the new plastics over the central tunnel, first the cover plastic and then the frame. Refit the gear knob to finish.
