In this video, we will see how to change the manual transmission fluid of a Peugeot 5008; the same procedure is also valid for the Peugeot 3008. Of course, we need to go under the car and locate the plug for draining the oil. We also need to have a basin to collect the used oil, which we will then dispose of at an authorized center.

Of course, we will also need to remove the protection located under the car, in order to drain the fluid properly.

We will need to replace the plug and gasket and then put the oil back in its place by topping it up from above. Check the owner's manual, but it takes about two liters of oil. From above, we need to remove the air duct tube to reach the transmission and breather.

Using a funnel with an extension, we will fill the transmission with 75W80 oil. It is essential that it is high-quality oil; start the engine for a bit and check for any leaks from the plug below.
