Replace Cigarette Lighter Socket on Peugeot 206

To begin, remove the gear knob by simply pulling it off with your fingers (see video). Now, insert your finger into the hole near the knob, which is initially hidden by the cover. If you can't find it, the hole leads directly to the 12V socket. By inserting your finger, you can touch the lever that will release the cigarette lighter, which will then pop out of its housing. At this point, pull it out and disconnect the wiring, then simply replace it with the new part, connecting it to the wires and securing it in place. Refit the gear knob, ensuring the clips are inserted into the appropriate spaces.
