How to Remove the Cigarette Lighter from the Peugeot 206?

To replace the cigarette lighter in the Peugeot 206, first open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Then, inside the cabin, unclip the clips securing the gear knob to gain access to its housing. Using your hands, lever it out to extract the cigarette lighter and the orange sleeve that surrounds it, disconnecting the device. After removal, insert the new sleeve into its housing, connect the new cigarette lighter to the connector, and refit the gear knob.
