Open the engine compartment hood and place the appropriate support rod. Use a protective cover on the fender to avoid scratches and damage. Unscrew the cap of the brake fluid reservoir and loosen the fixing bolts of the wheel in question with a socket wrench size 17. Raise the car with a jack and remove the wheel. At this point, remove the dust caps of the brake calipers with a wedge. Now unscrew the brake caliper attachment with a ratchet wrench. Separate the pads from the brakes, again with a wedge, detach the retaining spring and then the brake caliper, finally remove the pads.
