Replacing Brake Pads on a Peugeot 307

Open the bonnet and insert the support rod. Use a protective cover on the wing to avoid scratches and damage. Unscrew the cap of the brake fluid reservoir and loosen the wheel fastening bolts with a 17 mm socket. Lift the car with a jack and remove the wheel. At this point, remove the dust caps from the brake calipers using a wedge. Now unscrew the brake caliper attachment with a ratchet spanner. Separate the pads from the brakes using a wedge, detach the retaining spring, and then remove the brake caliper before finally taking out the pads.
