First, open the tailgate and start by removing the plastic panel, unscrewing the fixing screws and prying at the sides; then use a Torx T30 screwdriver to unscrew and remove the screws of the electric lock, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the electrical connector and replace the lock with the new one, applying the reverse procedure!
