How to Replace the Gear Knob on a Peugeot 308?

Replacing the gear knob on a Peugeot 308 is a very simple and quick operation. After obtaining an original or equivalent replacement, go inside the cabin, grip the knob, rotate it in both directions, and simultaneously pull it upwards. With some force and patience, the knob will come off; if necessary, you can use pliers to assist. Once removed, also take off the gaiter if needed and proceed with fitting the replacement in the same manner. As shown in the video, apply an internal tie wrap to the gaiter to secure it to the knob.
