The following operation requires a good deal of patience. The first thing to do is to open the hood of your car and disconnect the negative pole of the battery to prevent it from exploding in your face while you are working on the airbag. You can thus proceed with the disassembly of the airbag, on the steering wheel there are two small slits, insert the screwdriver and press lightly to lift the cover on the two levers inside. The wires connecting the airbag to the steering wheel are then disconnected. With this procedure we will have thus obtained the steering wheel of our car without the airbag.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?
