How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Peugeot 206

Do you want to remove the steering wheel with the airbag from your Peugeot 206? Here’s how to detach the airbag from the steering wheel and then the steering wheel itself. Disconnect the battery terminals. Insert a screwdriver into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and release the airbag retaining clips. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the terminals and take it out from the steering wheel. Unscrew the central bolt that secures the steering wheel, and remove it at the end of the disassembly. Fit the new steering wheel, connect the power terminal, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel until the clips click into place.
