To replace the cabin filter in a Peugeot 301, remove the left side panel of the footwell on the passenger side. Once this panel is removed, you can open the underlying filter box by removing its cover. This will allow you to take out the old filter from its housing and insert a new replacement. After the new filter is in place, close the box and reinstall the previously removed side panel of the footwell.
