To replace the serpentine belt on a Peugeot 206, lift the car using a ramp. Pull the ribbed part of the tensioner pulley using the square drive of the oil drain plug. Then, pull the belt off the respective pulleys, allowing the tensioner to return to its original position. If necessary, the pulleys should also be replaced. Once the belt is removed, reposition the tensioner and install a new serpentine belt, allowing the tensioner to restore the correct tension.
