How to Replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor on a Peugeot 307

To replace the coolant temperature sensor on a Peugeot 307, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: this will allow you to unscrew the fastening screws that secure the air filter to its housing, removing the entire box. This will provide access to the underlying sensor, which must be disconnected from its connector and then removed from its housing. Then, connect the new sensor to the connector, insert it back into its seat, and reinstall the air filter box.
