How to Change the Battery in a Peugeot 208

This brief video tutorial demonstrates how to replace the battery in a first-generation Peugeot 208, produced from 2012 to 2019. The operation is straightforward and can be done independently. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery cables, starting with the black (negative) cable, followed by the red (positive) cable. Next, grasp the control unit and pull it upwards to remove it. Then, pull the plastic tab at the base of the battery to release the clamp holding it in place. Now you can extract the battery and insert a new one by reversing the procedure. When reconnecting the battery cables, attach the positive cable first and then the negative cable.
