In this short video tutorial we can see how to replace the battery of a first generation Peugeot 208, produced from 2012 to 2019. The operation is very simple and we can perform it in complete autonomy. First of all, we open the bonnet and immediately disconnect the battery cables, first the black one (negative) and then the red one (positive). Now let's grab the ECU lock and pull it up towards us to remove it, then pull the plastic tab at the base of the battery to remove the latch that holds it in place. Now we can extract the battery, and put a new one following the procedure in reverse. When we go to reattach the battery cables we first reattach the positive cable and finally the negative one.
