Peugeot 208 - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot 208 A9, MK 1 - Years 2012-2019
Part: Battery
Operation: Peugeot 208 1.2 Puretech battery replacement

Let's see how to disassemble the engine battery of a Peugeot 208, following these simple steps. First of all, we open the bonnet of our car and disconnect the two battery terminals (positive and negative pole), using a socket wrench; after which we remove the side control unit, pulling it upwards. At this point we are going to release the fixing tabs that we find at the base of the battery, using leverage; we just have to lift and remove the battery, as shown in the video. Replace it with the new one, of the right type, and reassemble everything!

How to open the Fiat Panda petrol tank flap

In this video we proceed to the explanation, also verbal, of the technical operation of the opening and closing of the petrol tank cap. With the ignition on, the fuel cap, or rather the fuel filler flap, is open and therefore accessible. When trying to turn off the aforementioned ignition and then lock the car with the key, it is assumed that the petrol door, as well as the doors of the car, are closed, but this is not the case, in fact the latter in practice always remains open. Ultimately, you can access the fuel tank whether the car is closed or open.
