In order to replace the reverse gear switch of the Peugeot 307 you have to go to open the hood, so that you can go and disconnect the cables connected to the battery poles. Once the cables have been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the bolts that secure the battery to its housing, also removing the box that wraps it. Under this box there will be the reverse switch, which must be released from its housing after disconnecting its connector. In this way it will be possible to insert the new switch, connecting it and mounting the battery again.
