To remove the factory-installed stereo from the Peugeot 308, you will need the specific extraction tool set for the stereo. Obtain this before starting the operation. Enter the cabin and use your hands to remove the compartment below the stereo, which is only clipped in. Once done, insert the pins from the tool set into the appropriate slots on the stereo. These are used to release the internal mechanism so that the stereo can be extracted. Pull it out with your hands and complete the operation by disconnecting the electrical connectors at the back.
