Here’s how to remove the plastic cover of the upper pillar on a Peugeot 107; the same procedure also applies to Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo. First, open the seat. You will find a screw and a plastic rivet; now you can remove the pillar by taking off the clips that hold it in place.

You will need to remove one screw and one clip at the bottom of the pillar to free it so that you can pull it away. At this point, you can carry out your operations, perhaps on the rear seat belts.

To reassemble, simply screw back the screw and replace the rivet, then proceed with the other side.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
