To replace the door pull rod on a Peugeot 206, completely remove the door panel to access the underlying components. By moving the underlying fabric covering, loosen the bolts that secure the pull rod to the inside of the door. Next, unscrew the bolts that secure the pull rod to the inside of the door pillar; this will allow the old pull rod to be completely removed and the new replacement part to be installed securely.
