Damage to the bulbs of the third brake light is a common issue. To replace these bulbs, you first need to remove the third brake light. Open the rear hatch and remove the plastic trim covering the upper edge of the hatch (lever along the edges to detach it) to access the third brake light housing. You can access holes through which you can release the fastening tabs of the third brake light: press on the tabs through the holes at the ends to release them and remove the third brake light from the hatch.
