One important thing to know is that in French cars, the order of the cylinders is the opposite of all other manufacturers, meaning that the first cylinder is configured from the flywheel side and then ending with the fourth cylinder from the distribution side. These four codes are very generic: they can indicate broken wires, faulty coil, burnt valves, or a pierced piston. The best thing to do is to immediately change the coils to exclude this problem, also because they are inexpensive replacements and it is still advisable to change them after a certain number of kilometers, even just for fuel consumption.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?
