How do you replace the timing chain of the Peugeot 207?

Model: Peugeot 207 MK 1 - Years 2006-2015
Part: Timing belt

In order to replace the timing chain of the Peugeot 207, you need to lift the car so that it is possible to completely remove the front right wheel: this will need to be removed along with the corresponding wheel arch. This way, you will have access to the side of the engine block, where the chain tensioner is located: by releasing it from its housing, you can reduce the tension of the chain, which can then be completely removed. After removal, you can insert the new chain so that it is tensioned again by reinserting the tensioner.
