How to Change the Battery in a Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDi

In this video, see how to change the battery in a Peugeot 3008 MK1: open the bonnet of your vehicle and locate the battery on the right side of the engine block; remove the plastic cover from the positive terminal and disconnect the upper positive terminal. Then, using a screwdriver, detach the cover above the battery. There is a lid on top that you will remove by pulling it upwards. Using a socket wrench, remove the screw securing the battery support plate, then unlock and remove the negative terminal. Now you can take out the battery. Use sandpaper to remove any corrosion from the battery terminals, and apply copper grease to the contacts of the new battery: now you can insert it in place. Refit the negative terminal. Replace the battery support, then reinsert the battery cover. Reposition the plastic box and reconnect the positive terminal.
