Let's see how to proceed with the replacement of the oil filter of the Peugeot 206. We put the car on a lifting bridge, open the hood, and remove the oil level dipstick. We unscrew the refill cap, lift the car to be able to work easily under the oil pan. We place a basin to collect the used oil under the oil pan and unscrew the drain plug. Once the oil has drained, we lower the car and remove, with a 27mm wrench equipped with an extension, the oil filter that we will find at the base of the engine, on the right side. We remove the old filter and the sealing o-ring. We clean the filter cover, place a new filter element and a new o-ring, put everything back in its place and tighten it with a torque wrench to 25 Nm. We replace the drain plug and tighten it to 30 Nm. We pour 4.25 liters of new oil into the refill hole, check the level with the dipstick, and top up if necessary.
