Resetting the service light on a Peugeot 308, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure all scheduled maintenance tasks have been completed.

Start by entering the cabin, then insert the key but leave it in the initial position. Next, press and hold the button depicting a spanner and the number "000", located in the centre of the dashboard, and simultaneously turn on the instrument cluster.

Keep the button pressed for the entire duration of the countdown displayed.
