When the central locking of the Peugeot 206 is not working, it is possible that there has been a generic electronic problem that requires a simple system reset: to perform this reset, you must disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Therefore, to do this, you will need to open the hood and locate the battery on the right side of the engine compartment: here you can loosen the clamp of the negative terminal and leave it disconnected for a few minutes. After this time, you will need to reconnect the clamp to verify that the central locking works properly.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo
