In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the gear knob in the Peugeot 508, a very simple and quick operation. First, go inside the cabin, then using a plastic spatula to avoid leaving any marks, unclip the upper cover of the knob.

Next, unscrew the fastening screw indicated with a cross screwdriver, pull the knob upwards, and separate it from the shaft. If necessary, also remove the gaiter, insert the replacements, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
