For optimal engine performance, it is important to periodically replace the air filter on a Peugeot 207. To do this, open the engine compartment, loosen the clamp on the outlet hose of the filter box, and disconnect the small breather hose. Unscrew the bolt near the inlet hose and detach it. Remove the entire box and unscrew the screws that secure the cover, then open it and remove the old filter element, replacing it with a new one while ensuring the rubber edge fits snugly.

Close the cover by tightening the screws, reposition the box, reconnect the hoses, screw in the front bolt, and tighten the outlet hose clamp.
