How to Replace the Starter Motor on the Peugeot 307

Release and lift the bonnet, then remove the battery to protect the various electrical components and consequently its support platform to access the area underneath where the starter motor is located. This will allow you to remove the bolts securing the cables with their connectors to the starter motor. Now you can remove the bolts that secure the starter motor itself to your vehicle; unfortunately, the location of the starter motor is slightly awkward. Now insert and install the new starter motor by retracing the steps in reverse.
