How to Replace the Gear Knob on a Porsche Cayman

Lift the lower part of the central console panel of your vehicle. Use a plastic lever to avoid damaging the surrounding trim. Now, lift the centre of the knob with a flathead screwdriver. By rotating the base of the knob, you can detach the protective gaiter by simply pulling it upwards, separating the knob from the gaiter. Once you have removed the old parts, proceed with the replacements you wish to make; you can replace just the knob or the gaiter.
