In this short video, see the main steps to remove and replace the battery of the fourth generation RAM 1500, following the instructions below. First, open the hood and disconnect the battery terminals (positive and negative) using a 10 mm socket wrench; then use the same wrench to remove the bolt of the mounting bracket to lift and remove the battery from the battery tray.

At this point, replace the battery with a new one of the correct type, having the same amperage and cold cranking amps!
