In this short and simple guide, we will see how to remove and replace the battery on a fourth-generation Dodge Ram 1500. First, open the hood to access the battery, which is located on the right; then disconnect the battery terminals (positive and negative) using a 10 mm socket wrench to unscrew the nuts.

Next, unscrew the bolts of the battery bracket to lift and remove it from the battery tray; all that’s left is to replace it with the new one of the correct type, having the same dimensions and amperage!
