How to reset fuel level on Ram 1500

On this vehicle, the fuel gauge in the tank is analog and may have erratic readings. Fortunately, the solution to this problem does not require costly and invasive intervention and can easily be carried out directly with the controls of the car itself. First of all, make sure that the engine is off, then insert the key and turn on the ignition. Simultaneously press and hold the thin button located between the fuel gauge and the tachometer. Wait for all hands to return to the "zero" position and release the button. At this point the reset is complete and the gauge detects the exact amount of fuel.
