If you just purchased the new Ram 1500 and want to learn how to properly replace the battery located inside the key fob, simply follow these instructions to do it yourself. First, take the remote and fully remove the physical emergency key located at the bottom.

Next, use this key to easily open the cover and locate the battery inside. Finally, replace the old battery with the new one, and you're done.
