In this mini guide, discover how to properly change the button battery in your new RAM 1500 key fob. First, you need a new 3-Volt CR2450 button battery and a flathead screwdriver. Next, take the car remote and remove the physical emergency key by pressing the button located on the side of the cover.

At this point, disassemble the cover using the flathead screwdriver, and finally, replace the old dead battery with the new one.
