In this video we see the position of the inertia valve on a RAM Promaster Rapid: this vehicle has been in a crash and now won't start. The YouTuber has checked all the fuses from the owner's manual, but they are all fine, so the problem must be something else. Additionally, the car is indicating the reserve light, with a stripe above it, which clearly indicates that we need to look for the fuel shut-off switch. We find it on the passenger side, in the upper part of the carpet trim. We will need to pull it towards us and underneath we will find the inertia valve, where it will be enough to press the switch to reset it. In fact, when a vehicle is in an accident, it prevents the flow of gasoline to prevent a fire.
