The battery in the Renault Trafic 3 is located under the bonnet. To replace it, open the bonnet and use an 8 mm spanner to unscrew the two nuts on either side of the battery.

Then, remove all side panels and the central bracket. Using a 10 mm spanner, disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal; never reverse these steps as it could cause damage to you and the vehicle.

Remove the old battery. Insert the new one and connect the terminals, then reinstall the side and central inserts and tighten them.

Once finished, close the bonnet.
