How to change the fuel filter of the Renault Twingo 2

In today's article, we are going to see the procedure for replacing the fuel filter of the Renault Twingo 2nd series. For this operation, a flathead screwdriver and a 10mm socket wrench will be necessary. To replace the filter, you must first lift the hood, then use the screwdriver to leverage the appropriate pins and remove the diesel filter connectors, located in the front left part of the engine compartment, as shown in the video. Once the connectors are removed, use the socket wrench to loosen the filter securing bolt enough to extract the filter. Once removed using a container for liquid recovery, rotate the water presence sensor of the filter half a turn counterclockwise. Once the sensor is removed from the old filter, insert it into the new filter and rotate it half a turn clockwise to insert the blocks, insert the filter into its housing, screw in the securing bolt, and reconnect the tubes to the filter. Now the procedure will be complete.
