Lift the car with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands underneath; loosen the fuel filter mounting using a screwdriver, and position a container underneath the filter to catch any fuel. Clean the fastening devices of the fuel line with a multi-purpose cleaner spray; using fuel line connector pliers, squeeze the clips and separate the fuel lines from the filter housing; remove the filter and place it inside the container, then install the new fuel filter.
