To replace the fuel filter on a Renault Twingo, start by unscrewing the fuel filler cap. Raise the vehicle on a ramp (or from the rear), and using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the screw that holds the filter clamp. Move the fuel filter, and using a suitable pair of pliers, disconnect the filter hoses (place a container to catch any fuel that may spill) and remove the filter itself.

Once the old fuel filter is removed, take the new fuel filter, insert the inlet hose into the designated hole after removing the hole protection until it clicks into place; then position the new filter in its housing, insert the fuel outlet hose into the designated hole until it clicks into place, position the clamp and tighten the screw of the clamp to secure it. Finally, lower the car, screw the fuel filler cap back on, and start the engine.
