The filter that protects the Renault Megane's suction system from the circulation of dust and dirt must be changed during the general check-up to ensure its effectiveness. To do this, we open the hood of the engine compartment, find the filter cover near the drip tray, moved to the driver's side.

Using a cross-head screwdriver, we unscrew the two screws that hold it in place, remove the housing and remove the old filter, replace it with a new filter element, making sure to properly adhere the rubber edge and insert the housing into its seat, secure the cover with its two screws.
