Replacement of the Gear Knob and Gaiter

Grip the gear knob and pull it upwards with force to remove it (be careful of the spring). Detach the gaiter frame and pull it out of its housing by simply tugging it. Fold the gaiter and remove the retaining clip from the rubber bush to extract it; unclip the frame from the base of the gaiter and remove the frame support from inside the gaiter itself.

Attach the frame support to the base of the new gaiter, positioning the wider part at the front; then reattach the frame first at the front and then at the back; reapply the rubber bush and secure it with the corresponding clip, orienting it correctly.

Insert the gaiter onto the gear lever, clip the frame to the base of the centre console; insert the spring and the new knob, pressing down firmly to secure it.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
