The solution to the problem of the Renault Captur II not opening

In this video we can see how the youtuber solved the problem of the fuel door that wouldn't open. Finding out where the motor of the door was located was not easy at all: he had to remove the wheel, the wheel arch, and then the interior of the trunk, to discover that the motor is inside the rear pillar of the tailgate, so he also had to remove much of the trunk upholstery. Once he reached the motor, he discovered that the problem was a lever that couldn't lift up; unfortunately, this movement is what allows the door to open. The youtuber then decided to give up on the security of the door closing, and with a cable tie around the lever, he keeps the door always open.
