How to Remove the Airbag from a Renault Clio

To protect the electrical system of your vehicle and work safely, disconnect the battery before performing any operations. Then, unclip the fastener that secures the centre part of the steering wheel to allow removal. Once removed, disconnect the plugs that power this part of the steering wheel, using a flathead screwdriver if needed, and then completely remove it. If necessary, you can now proceed to fully remove the steering wheel; otherwise, replace the airbag and retrace the steps for reassembling the various components.
