How to change the front brake pads of the Renault Clio IV

In this video, we will see how to change the front brake pads on the Renault Clio IV: we open the hood and remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir, then we lift the front of the car and remove both wheels. We place a flat screwdriver at the outer end of the slot on the front of the caliper to retract the piston, then we unlock both caliper bolts. We then tie a strap to the shock absorber coil to secure the caliper, so that the flexible hose does not get damaged. Now we remove the brake pads, and with a flat screwdriver we remove the anti-noise springs. We clean the pad support with a metal brush. We install the new anti-noise springs, then the new pads, greasing the support with copper grease. We put the caliper back in place, inserting the caliper bolts, which we tighten to 27 Nm. We repeat the process on the other side, reassemble the wheels, and lower the car.
