How to remove the radio from the Renault Koleos

In this video we can see how to remove the factory radio from the dashboard of the Renault Koleos. First, we remove the chrome metal trims on the sides of the dashboard; this way we can see the screws underneath them, which secure the radio to the body of the car. Using screwdrivers with a thin tip (or special keys, easily found on e-commerce platforms, such as tuttoaccessoriauto.it with SKU code JP-LZE7-GBM8 for 5.84 euros, free delivery), we remove the radio from its seat by pulling it towards us. We disconnect the electrical connectors, and we are ready for the installation of the new unit. Now we make room for the screen, removing the small display screen at the top of the dashboard, starting again from the chrome metal trim, unscrewing the two screws and lifting the cover, disconnecting the electrical connectors.
