How to change the air filter of the Renault Scenic II

In this video, we will see how to change the air filter of the Renault Scenic II: we open the hood and remove the rubber gasket from the windshield frame, which simply slides off by pulling it upwards. Using a 10mm socket wrench, we unscrew the 3 nuts that secure the black plastic cover, then we unscrew the two nuts that secure the metal support frame underneath. Now we see the air filter box cover. Using a cross-head screwdriver, we unscrew the two screws that hold it in place, lift the cover and remove it. We clean the housing from dust and residue and place the new filter; the shape forces us to put it in the right direction. We reposition the air filter box cover, screw in the two cross-head screws, reassemble the metal frame and tighten the two 10mm nuts; we reassemble the black plastic cover and tighten the 10mm nuts. Put the rubber gasket back on the windshield frame. We are done.
